Biography and Career :
Bibbe Hansen is his mother and David Campbell his father. His parents are divorced. During his childhood he didn't have many friends. In his free time he used to sing and so he discovered his talent and passion in the same time. He renounced high school and started traveling. He had to work in order to live and after he met Chris Ballew they started singing on the street.
He started together with Carl Stephenson a successful collaboration. He signed a contract with Geffen Records after a while and in 1994 he released his debut album, "Mellow Gold". Between 1996 and 2006 he released the albums: "Odelay", "Mutations", "Mi
dnite Vultures", "Sea Change", "Guero" and "The Information". They all were very successful and made him a famous singer. In 1996 he was the winner of "Best Alternative Performance" Grammies for back-to-back albums: Odelay and Mutations in 1998.
On April 3, 2004 he married Marissa Ribisi. The couple has two children; Cosimo Henri Hansen is one of them. He continues doing what he knows best and his fans are very happy about it. His albums are selling great and his fame comes from his talent and hard work.
