Banel Nicolita was born on January 7, 1985 in Faurei, Romania. He is a famous Romanian soccer player.

Biography and Career :

Banel Nicolita began his career playing for Dacia Unirea Braila in the B Division. He made his first appearance in the First Romanian Division(Divizia A) in 2004, when he was only 19 years old, while he was playing for Poli Timisoara in a match versus CFR Cluj. Poli lost that match with 1:2, but discovered a fabulous player, Banel Nicolita.

He only played half of season for Poli and at only 19 years old he impressed Steaua Bucharest's officials and he was transferred here in 2004.
The young defender overstepped all expectations and became in very little time one of Steaua's main titulars. After a great half of season, Banel Nicolita became champion o f Romania with Steaua Bucharest just from his debut in the First League.

Next season 2005-2006 Banel Nicolita confirmed his skills and his ambitions and after a new Champion Title won with Steaua he was considered at only 20 years old one of the most valuable players from the internal competitions.

His constant good performances haven't passed unnoticed by Victor Piturca, the National Team trainer. Until now Nicolita played 8 official matches for the National Team of Romania, but he's still very young and one thing is for sure: he'll fight to win his place in the first 11.
