Short Biography:
Ruth started playing in 1914 as a pitcher for the Boston Braves before moving to the Boston Red Sox later that year. He joined the New York Yankees 1920 and became one of the best batters in the game. Yankee Stadium is known as "the stadium Ruth built" because of the money he brought into the club.
