B.J. Bedford also known as Barbara J. Bedford, was born on November 9, 1972 in Hanover, New Hampshire. She is a famous swimmer.
Barbera is the daughter of Frederick and Jane Bedford of Etna. She attended her early school from Hanover High School and Kimball Union Academy, from where she started her career in the world of swimming sports in the North Country Aquatics Club. Barbera completed her graduation in the Arts History from University of Texas.
She won a Gold medal in the Olympics 2000 at the Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, in 100 and 400 meter swimming race. She has also set the record of 3:58.30 in the women's relay race breaking the record of China in 1994 World Champion ships. She is the 11th fastest woman in history in the 100 meter backstroke.
Barbera has also won two Gol
d Medals and one Silver Medal at the Goodwill Games. In 1988 Seoul Games she won three gold medals held at Argentina.
