Ayrton Senna (1960-1994) had his first Grand Prix win in the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix, and progressed to the world driver's tide in 1988, 1990, and 1991.
By the end of the 1993 season he had 41 wins in 159 starts. He died in a crash at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.
