Audrey Landers was born on July 18, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. She is an American actress and singer.
Audrey Lander is the daughter of Ruth Landers. When she was 12 years old she wrote and performed a country song because of which she was noticed and she signed a contract with Epic Records. After signing the contract she got a chance to perform on the Merv Griffin show and a main role in the daytime drama The Secret Storm. When she was a teenager she acted in a daytime drama Somerset and simultaneously she learnt music at the Julliard School in New York. She has majored in psychology from the Columbia University. After completing her graduation she shifted to Los Angeles. She played a role in Dallas from 1981 to 1984, 1986. In 1996 she acted in the TV movie Dallas: J.R. Returns. She also acted in the version of A Chorus Line in 1985. She played the role of Charlotte Hesser in the ABC daytime series One Life to Live from 1990-1991. She has also done a guest performance in 2 episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard in 1980 titled "R.I.P. Henry Flatts". She played the role of Veronica, the girlfriend of Bruce Campbell's character Sam, on the USA Network series Burn Notice.
As a singer and composer she has mostly recorded pop and disco albums. Few of her major hits are "Mi Amor", "Manuel Goodbye", "Playa Blanca", and "Jim, Jeff & Johnny". Her album "Rendez-Vous" in 1991 has the song "Turn to Me" written by lyricist Martin H. Samuel and composer Lisa Nemzo.
