Artie Lange was born on 11th October 1967 in Livingston, New Jersey, U.S. He is an American actor, comedian, radio personality and author.
Biography and Career:
Artie Lange was born at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston Township, New Jersey. He is the son of Judy a homemaker and his father, Arthur Sr., was a general contractor. Thought he was born in New Jersey he was brought up in Union Township.
When he was in high school he stood out in baseball and he became an All County third baseman. He was free he used work with his father. In 1985 after he completed his high school his father fell from the roof and broke his back and became a quadriplegic. Four and half years after the accident took place his father died because of an infection.
He went to Connecticut School
of Broadcasting from March 1987 to June 1987 as part of his trial. He was then offered a radio job in Wyoming. But he didn't take up the job and remained in New Jersey and worked as a longshoreman. After he was stimulated by Richard Lewis she started going stand-up comedy. Later he quit his job to concentrate fully on his comedy career.
He was one among the cast members of Fox's comedy show MADtv in 1995. Before he joined MADtv he worked previously with the improv troupe "Live in Tape". He has imitated people like Ed Harris, Ed McMahon, F. Lee Bailey, Joe Pesci, Larry Csonka, Newt Gingrich, Richard Karn, Roseanne Barr, Rosie O'Donnell, and Yasser Arafat on shows. He played small roles on MADtv during the 5th and 10th seasons and during the final episode on Fox on 16th May 2009. He also appeared on the Saturday Night Live which was hosted by former SNL cast member Will Ferrell.
