
Arnaud Clement was born on December 17, 1977 in Aix-en-Provence, France. He is a famous French tennis player.
Biography and Career:
In 1996 he became a professional tennis player and after five years he played in the final of a Grand Slam tournament.
He was trained by Bruno Clement who goes with Arnaud at all the tournament.
Until now he has won four single tournaments and nine doubles tournaments, including a Grand Slam doubles title.
In 2001 at the Australian Open he played the final against Andre Agassi, but unfortunately ho lost the game (6-4, 6-2, 6-2).
As a doubles player, together with his partner Michaël Llodra, he won the Wimbledon title. They won the team formed by Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan.
His first single title was won in 2000, in Lyon, France after a
hard game in the final against Patrack Rafter.
In 2003 he won the game against Fernando Gonzalez in the final with the score 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 and won the title.
In 2006 he won another two major titles in the tournaments. The first one was in March at Marseille against Mario Ancic and the second one in August at Washington against Andy Murray. All the single titles were won on hard court.
Between 1999 and 2007 he lost six finals at Marseille, Australian Open, Hertogenbosch two times, Lyon and Nottingham.
The nine doubles titles were won at Casablanca in 2000, Marseille in 2002, Indian Wells, St. Petersburg and Metz in 2004, Paris and Lyon in 2006, Marseille and Wimbledon in 2007.
He played a great match at Roland Garros in 2004 against Fabrice Santoro which took six hours and 33 minutes length long and the score was 6-4, 6-3, 6-7, 3-6, 16-14 for Fabrice Santoro.
At the US Open in 2000 he reached the quarter-finals and the fourth round at the French in 2003 and at Wimbledon in 2001 and 2002.
