Antonio Banderas (full name Jose Antonio Dominguez Banderas) was born on August 10, 1960, in Malaga, Andalusia, Spain. He is a famous Spanish actor.
Biography and Career :
His mother was a teacher and his father was a policeman. When he was a child he wanted most to become a football player, but at the age of 14, he suffered an accident and his dream was to break down. Later on, Antonio Banderas joined a group of actors in a Spanish theatre. The director Pedro Almodovar saw his real talent as an artist and took him to be starring in "Laberinto de Pasione".
That year, 1982, Antonio Banderas made his debut as an actor of the big screen. He also showed up in a series of films like: "Desperado" (1995), "Evita"(1998) and "The Mask of Zorro" (1998). In 1999 he made his debut as
a director with "Crazy in Alabama", a black comedy. He starred this film with Melanie Griffith, to whom he had got married in 1996. In 1995 Antonio Banderas was chosen to be the 24th sexiest actor in the history of movie by the Empire Magazine.
