Anthea Turner was born on 25th May 1960in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. She is an English television presenter and media personality.
Biography and Career:
Anthea Turner completed her education at the independent St. Dominic's High School in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent. She joined the BBC Radio as a runner. In the beginning she joined the Breakfast how with presenter Bruno Brookes.
She then got into television through Sky Channel. She presented live music programs from July 1986 to 1989. BBC on But First This was her debut on national television because of which she got an opportunity to present two series for the BBC on the Saturday morning show Up2U. She was the only non-Radio One DJ to frequently present Top of the Pops, and remained with the program for three years.

n 1992 she started to present the children's television show Blue Peter. She then started presenting Totally Live on pan-European music channel Music Box, the ITV morning television station GMTV, as well as the first National Lottery draw on BBC1 in 1994, and the ITV travel show Wish You Were Here...? Her two work out videos Anthea Turner Body Basics (1996) and Anthea Turner: Tone, Lift And Condition: The Inch Buster (1999) produced by Grant Bovey were released. In 2000 she presented the BBC1's Saturday evening program Your Kids Are in Charge with her sister. The next year she took part in the Celebrity Big Brother show and was the third contestant to be expelled after Chris Eubank and Vanessa Feltz.
She made her come back on BBC three in Anthea Turner: Perfect Housewife in February 2006. In this show she taught men and women how to clean and run their homes.
