Living here in France for 22 years, i suddenly thought of Anne Jeffreys in TOPPER, which i loved as a kid. So i got onto YouTube and found her and the handsome Robert Sterling on What's My Line? A fun video from the good old days. Charming, intelligent. Whatever happened to shows like that? Jeffreys was, tho' modest, one of our most beautiful and talented actresses, and she sang beautifully too. Her voice was lovely, spoken or sung. And what charisma!

The "Topper" TV series is one of my old favorites. I think it could be updated and brought back as a new series today. Anne Jeffreys was perfectly cast as Marian and all the cast members did a fine job - even the dog. I haven't seen Anne Jeffreys in other shows, except the Dick Tracy series. She was good in that, too.
