Anna Tatangelo was born on January 9, 1987, in Sora, Lazio, Italy.
Biography and Career:
As a child, she was highly interested in music and developed a good command over her vocal skills as a teenager.
From the age of 15, Anna Tatangelo has participated in the Sanremo Music Festival. She was chosen as the best New Arrival of the event in 2002. But she didn't give the same level of performance in the 2003 event.
She released her debut album "Ragazza di periferia" in 2005. She took part in the Sanremo Music Festival for the third time and sand songs from her newly released album in the festival.
When she went back to Sanremo in 2006, Anna received the award for Best Singer- Female for singing the song "Essere una donna".
She released a couple of singles in 2007, "Av
erti Qui" and "Lo so Che Finira", from her forthcoming album. The album was released in February next year. The two singles released earlier were written by Anna and Gigi D' Alessio and one of the songs from the album featured Michael Bolton. Anna sung this track when she entered the Sanremo Music Festival for the third time.
