Anna Lesko was born on January 10, 1979 in Chisinau, Moldovan SSR. She is a famous Ukrainian-Romanian singer.
Biography and Career :
When she was 17 years old she left her home country, Moldovan SSR and came to Romania with a ballet troop. During this performance the famous businessman, Irinel Columbeanu, most known for the his relationship with younger women remarked her. It didn't take long until they were having an affair, even though the disputed businesman was involved in a relationship with a famous local designer Romanita Ciolcan at the same time.
Just a kid when she met Columbeanu, Anna Lesko moved out to Romania hoping her dreams will become true alongside the wealthy businessman. She gave up ballet and she got in the music industry. In a very short period of time
she transformed from an unknown child into one of the hottest divas in Romania.
Anna Lesko began taking canto lessons, she recorded her first songs, she started shooting her first clips and helped by her godess beauty she has become one of the most popular starlets in Romania.
Anna Lesko's first album was launched in 2002 being a huge success.The single "Flacari" made its way to the top fast and easy and Anna Lesko was no longer the young girlfriend of Irinel Columbeanu, she managed to gain her personal fame and success.
In September 2003 Anna Lesko signed a collaboration contract with the leader of Directia 5, Marian Ionescu who became her manager. Because they were always together, the press suggested that the two of them were having more than a professional relationship. Anna Lesko denied those rummours and mentioned that the only man in her life is Irinel Columbeanu.
In September 2004 the romance between Anna Lesko and Irinel Columbeanu came to an end. The Romanian Diva admitted that their relationship was over.
Even though after this break-up everybody considered her days as a famous musician were counted, Anna Lesko launched in 2006 another succesful album “Ispita” and proved that she can make it on her own.
