Anna Garcia is born to Sicilian, Spanish and British ancestry parents. When she was young she shuttled between London and Holland. Her mother was singer who used to sing in various bands in local London. She went to the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. Her first song "Ronnie - Talk to Russia "was recorded in 1988. The song was written by a German songwriter and former member of the Modern Talking Dieter Bohlen.
She met the musician Prince in his concert in London when she was 16 years old. She started living with Prince in Minneapolis, Minnesota from the age of 17 years. He gave her pink cashmere coat on her 18th birthday because of which
inspired her to sing the song "Pink Cashmere" that was released in 1993. For Carmen Electra's debut album in 1992 she had written the song "Fantasia Erotica".
In the Batman soundtrack released in 1989 she has been recognized as Anna Garcia in the song "Partyman".
