Anna Faris (full name Anna Kay Faris) was born on November 29, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

Biography and Career :

Anna Faris was raised in Seattle and studied English Literature at the University of Washington after high school, later moving to London to begin working and writing. Longing to return to her childhood love of acting, Anna Faris took a role in the run-of-the-mill teen slasher pic Lover's Lane (1999).

Her first paid job was at the Seattle Repretory theatre at age nine. Anna Faris loved it and did other local plays and readings. After graduating from the University of Washington in English Literature she decided to leave for London to work and write, but after filming (the less than wonderful) 'Lover's Lane' and a short for the Seattle Film Festival she de cided to give Los Angeles a try.

Anna Faris signed with up with a wonderful management agency and before she could catch her breath Keenan cast her in 'Scary Movie'.
