She spent her childhood in Italy, her father is Italian and her mother is Finlandese.
Her career started when she became Miss Cinema Italy in 1989, but her first advertisement was in 1992 for an Italian bank. She also started an acting career and some of the movies in which she played are "Nel continente nero", "Desideria e l'Anello del Drago", "Nessun messaggio in segreteria", "Paparazzi", "Bodyguards", "Cemetery Man" and "S.P.Q.R.". She is a television personality and co-hosted specials like 'Luna Park', 'Donna sotto le Stelle', 'Stelle a 4 zampe' and 'Domenica In'.
In 2005 she got married to Stefano Ricucci.
