Anjanette Comer was born in Texas. She is the daughter of Rufus Franklin and Nola Comer. Before pursuing her career in acting she studied for two years at the Pasadena Playhouse. She took part competitions like beauty pageants, basketball tournament and cheerleading when she was a teenager. Before she shifted to California she studied at the Baylor University in Waco, Texas. When she was 18 years old she shifted to California.

In 1977 she acted in the movie Fire Sale and in 1983 she acted in The Long summer of George Adams which was made of Television. Later she started doing mysterious and exotic roles.
