Her name translated into English means graceful. Darto Singo is her father and he is an entertainer and she decided to be exactly like him. When she was seven years old she started singing and after only two years recorded her first album. In 1991 she became a star and she was popular not only in Asia but also in Europe. In 2004 she married Oliver Maury and they moved to Europe.
She released many albums in Europe and Asia and collaborated with famous designers for her album outfits. Her recognition came when she received the "Chevalier des Arts et Lettres" from the France;s Culture Minister and in 2006 at the Indonesian Music Awards won
the "Best International Artist". She is an ambassador of Audemars Piguet and Spokesperson for the United Nations "International Year of Microcredit".
