Angelo Pagan was born in Bronx, New York. He is actor, writer and producer.
Angelo Pagan was born in Bronx, New York. He first started his career in music, but very soon he shifted to films and television. He started working in television commercials and he also worked with The California Shakespeare Company and The Berkley Repertory Theatre Company when he was in college. He has written, produced and acted in six movies that were financed by the University of California, San Francisco. Among the
work he has done two of the projects won an award that were produced in association with medical University. The awards that he has won are The American Film Festival Blue Ribbon, National Educational Film Festival, American Public Heath Association Honoree and Planned Parenthood Film Festival Honoree.
He started performing in the club circuits with his band Salsa Caliente. He signed a contract with Nasty Mix Records in 1988. Then he started recording and touring, opening for CC and the Music Factory. He joined Johnny Polanco's Conjunto La Amistad in 1995 and he was also a part of Orquesta La Palabra in 1998. He has also recorded with Mongo Santamaria, Johnny Polanco and La Palabra. He wrote five of the songs for his solo album No Tengas Miedo with Morrowland Records in 2001.
During his recording career he started acting. He has acted in Kiss Shot with Whoopie Goldberg and Dennis Franz. His other television projects were Robin Cook's Virus with Nicollette Sheridan, Lansky with Richard Dryfuss, Beverly D'Angelo and Anthony LaPaglia, Dharma and Greg, 24, The King of Queens and Without A Trace, just to name a few.
