
Angelica Huston was born on July 8, 1951 in Santa Monica, California, USA. She is former fashion model and Academy Award-winning American actress.
Biography and Career :
She is the daughter of the director John Huston and the ex-ballet dancer, Enrica Soma. During the Mccarthysm Protest in 1950, the Hustons moved to Ireland. This way, her childhood spent in Ireland was far away from the glamour in Hollywood until 1969. That year she took a part in her father's film "A Walk with Love and Death". The film was a failure. She kept on playing short parts for a few years.
Angelica's first success as an actress came out when she got an Academy Award with the "Prize's Honor". She was nominee for Oscar with the films: "A Love Story" (1989) and "The Grifters" (1990). She took the par
t of Morticia Addams in "The Addams Family" (1991) and in "Addams Family Values" (1993). In the 90's, she started her career as a movie director with: "Bastard out of Carolina" (1996) and "Agnes Browne" (1999).
When she was 21, in 1973, she begun a relationship with Jack Nicholson. This have lasted for 17 years.
