Angel Locsin (birth name Angelica Colmenares) was born on April 23, 1985 in Bulacan, Philippines. She is an actress, model and film producer.

Biography and Career :

Her parents have another two children besides her. A talent scout discovered her while shopping in SM City North EDSA in Quezon City. Soon her career was starting. She auditioned for some commercals at first. Her father wasn't too pleased with her new career and because of him she didn't signed a contract with ABS-CBN"S Talent Center. Later she signed with GMA and became their star. Click was the first show for her.

She continued being a model and appeared in many magazines and commercials. She was seen in movies like "Drama", "Mulawin", "Let the Love Begin", "Sigaw", "I Will Always Love You" and "The Promise". In 2005 she was elected Princess of Philippine Movies and TV at the Box Office Entertainment Awards and Miss FAMAS Popularity at the FAMAS Awards. She is a film producer too and in 2007 produced "Angel".

She was seen in AXE's commercial but feminists groups protested because she was playing the role of a woman teasing a man by showing off money and her body but the man approaches and takes only her money. Being so beautiful offered her many advantages. She is also an intelligent woman.

Trivia :

- When she has free time she likes to dance, read, cook and learn new recipes.
- In 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007 she was placed on the 10th, 6th, 2nd and 3rd position in FHM’s Sexiest Women in Philippines list and in 2005 on the first position.
