Andriy Shevchenko was born on September 29, 1976 in Dvirkivschyna, Ukraine. He is a well known football player.

Biography and Career :

His career started at the youth team at Dynamo Kyiv but after a short period was playing in the first team. He played there between 1994 and 1999 and in 117 matches scored 60 goals. Then he was transferred to AC Milan for 25 million dollars and was considered one of their best players. In 208 matches he managed to score 127 times. He helped the team in the internal Championship and in the UEFA Cups. Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea, was the one who wanted Andriy in his team so he offered 50 million GBP and striker Hernan Crespo. No one could refuse that offer so the player became now Chelsea’s player since 2006. He played in 30 games and scored four times.

Since 1995 he has been playing for his national team, Ukraine and he scored 33 times in 73 matches. In 2004 he married Kristen Pazik, who is a model. They have two boys, Jordan and Christian. He met his wife at a Giorgio Armani after party. He and the designer are friends and he even modeled for Armani. Since 2005 he is a SOS Children's Villages charity ambassador. He is talented and scores many goals; everyone would like him in his team or as a team mate.
