Andrew Lloyd Webber (born in 1948) is a English composer.
Short Biography:
His early musicals, with lyrics by Tim Rice, include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (1968); Jesus Christ Superstar (1970); and Evita (1978), based on the life of the Argentinian leader Eva Perdn.
He also wrote Cats (1981) and The Phantom of the Opera (1986).
