Andrew Jackson is a versatile actor who has worked extensively in television, film and theatre. He spent four consecutive seasons at Canada's Stratford Festival (1987-90) and was awarded the Jean A Chalmers Award for most promising newcomer in 1987.
Following two years on ABC's All My Children (1991-93), Andrew played Christian in the Sterling Award winning production of Cyrano de Bergerac, with Tony Award winner Brent Carver, at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton (1994).
To-date, Andrew Jackson has performed in over 280 television episodics. Selected recurring roles include: Kyle XY (ABC), Being Erica (CBC), The Collector (CHUM), Andromeda (Tribune), Earth: Final Conflict (Tribune) as well as a series lead in the 5th season of Wind At My Back (CBC, Sullivan Entertainment. een cast as supporting leads in the mini-series: Sea Wolf (RHI Entertainment), XIII (Prodigy Pictures), Merlin's Apprentice (Hallmark), Terminal City (CHUM), Category 6: Day of Destruction (CBS), Taken (Dreamworks), The Last Don II (CBS) and was granted starring and leading roles in the TV features: Deadly Betrayal (2003), Scared Silent (2002), Millennium Man (1999), Catch A Falling Star (1999) and Family of Cops II (1996). Andrew's feature work includes All I Want aka Try Seventeen (Millennium Pictures), Scooby Doo 2 (WB), Shadowbuilder (Applecreek Prod.) and Seed (Boll KG) to name a few. Andrew was granted the Best Actor Award at the Cabbagetown Film and Video Festival, for his lead performance in the film short, My Father Is An Actor (Crazy 8's).
The busy actor has performed in over 100 commercial voice recordings to-date and is proud to be the voice of the Incredible Hulk (Sega Games). Andrew is the lead voice in a yet to be released X-BOX game and has guest starred on numerous animation series including, Razzbery Jazzberry Jam (CBC), Skatoony (Marblemedia), Pippi Longstocking (Nelvana), Di-Gata Defenders II (Nelvana / Teletoon) and The Amazing Spiez (Marathon / Teletoon).
