
Ananda Lewis (full name Sarasvati Ananda Lewis) was born on March 21, 1973 in San Diego, California, USA. She started her career as a model and became a television personality.
Biography and Career :
When she was only 13 years old she became a member of the voluntary Head Start agency and was helping poor children. She attended the Howard University and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. She spent nine years studying arts and theatre.
Becoming a model wasn't hard for her thanks to her beauty and height. After that she entered the television and radio world. At first she co-hosted a daily morning show at radio Station KKBT
Los Angeles.
Before being a VJ for MTV she had hosted 'Teen
Summit', on BET network. In 2001 she was the host of 'The Ananda Lewis Show', a talk show. 'The Insider' is a show where she is not only the host, but also the image and face of it.
She received invitations to many shows like "Politically Incorrect", "The View", "The
Chris Rock Show" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn".
