Biography and Career:
Anahi Portilla was born and brought up in Mexico City. She is the daughter of Enrique Puente and Marichelo Portilla. She was the face of a famous soft drink when she was a kid. She also recorded a song "Te doy un besito" which was played at the end of the children's day program on Channel 5 in Mexico.
She started her acting career on a Mexican television program entitled Chiquilladas when she was 2 years old. She has also acted in the movie Nacidos para Morir and Habia una vez una Estrella. She has acted in many telenovelas like Mujer casos de la vida real, Hora Mercada, Vivo por Elena, and La Telaragna.
She has acted as Jessica in Clase 406 with
Alfonso Herrera, Dulce Maria and Christina Chavez in 2002. Alfonso Herrera, Dulce Maria and Christina Chavez are also her band mates in RBD.
She has also acted Rebelde a Mexican remake of the Argentine novela, Rebelde Way in 2004. Before she acted in Rebelde she acted in Angeles sin paraiso with Felipe Colombo. She played the role of Mia Colucci, a popular girl from a wealthy family in Rebelde. The series was a super hit and lasted from 2004 to 2006 and nearly 400 episodes were telecasted. She auditioned for the lead role in Sortilegio with William Levy but she was unfortunately given the role of Jacqueline Bracamontes. In 2010 she said to be seen on the series Mujeres Asesinas along with former RBD member Maite Perroni.
