Biography and Career :
Becoming a professional tennis player in 1998 she won seven WTA single titles and seven WTA doubles titles. The other six single titles are ITF titles and the other three doubles titles the same. On August 7, 2006 she managed to reach the highest position in Top 100 of her career, the 23rd position. Her most famous success was at the tournament in Strasbourg, France when she beat in the final the famous Amelie Mauresmo. This was happening in May 2007.
She won the tournaments in Palermo four times, in 2006, 2005, 2004 and 2001, in Canberra and Strasbourg. At the US Open and Wimbledon she played into the third round in 2005 and 2006. In 2007 she pl
ayed the fourth round at the French Open and five years earlier she had the same performance at the Australian Open. Today (2007) she has the best position in Top 100 of the Spanish professional tennis players.
Until now (2007) she has won 1.6 million dollars and is placed on the 28th position of Top 100 but hopes to stay out of injuries and win as many tournaments. Specialists offer her credit and we hope to see her on the best position of the tops. With hard training and work she could achieve great results.
