
Ana Ivanovic was born on November 6, 1987 in
Belgrade, Serbia. She is a young and talented tennis player, determined to prove her best and become No. 1.
Biography and Career :
Her tennis career started very early, when she was only 5 years old. The steps she had to do in order to become a professional player weren't easy. She even had to train in an abandoned swimming pool in the winter.

va, Sanja Ancic and
Novak Dokovic.
2003 was the year when she had her first shot and started a career as a professional tennis player. She entered into the attention of tennis lovers after she became finalist at the Junior Wimbledon tournament in 2004.
Her first title came at Canberra,
Australia in 2005 and in the same year she managed to beat
Amelie Mauresmo in the third round at the French Open.
In 2006 she beat again Mauresmo this time at Sydney, but couldn't continue because Svetlana Kuznetsova didn't allow her.
She played in 2006 in the final of the
Canada Masters and beat
Martina Hingis.
Playing at many tournaments gave her trust and in 2007 she was the finalist at the French Open. Unfortunately for her she lost against
Justine Henin, who is World's Number 1. In 2007 she also won the title at Berlin and one year early she had won at Montreal.
She is a great girl and her chances to become a big name in the tennis history are really important.
