
Amy Hayes (full name Amy Faye Hayes) was born on November 24, 1973 in Wyandotte, Michigan, USA. She is a well known boxing ring announcer.
Biography and Career :
When she was in high school she used to play basketball and softball. She became interested in box and then became a boxing ring announcer and today is famous for this. Fight Night Inc. gave her the chance to use the microphone for the first time and because of public relations, emceeing pre-show fights, managing ring card girls, doing general gopher work she sounded like a professional.
Her first job was at a WCW Monday Night Nitro event. The things went great and in 199 she made her first radio announcement at the Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio. One year later she became the first woman to announce a fight o
n television on ESPN2's Friday Night Fights. Since then she presents on Fox Sports Net's Sunday Night Fights and this became regular.
She worked as a wrestling announcer in Italy for Nu-Wrestling Evolution in 2006. Now (2007) she is dreaming to become the first woman to announce a Heavyweight Championship. We wish her luck and are sure that she can achieve her dreams. She also wants to release a book called "Separating the Men From the Boys".
