Biography and Career :
She spent her childhood in Castle Rock, Colorado and attended the Douglas County High School there. A movie producer discovered her when she was working at Chanhassen Dinner Theater in Minnesota. In 1999 she received a role in "Drop Dead Gorgeous". Other movies in which she was seen are "Cruel Intentions 2", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "The Office", "Catch Me If You Can", "Talladega Nights", "The West Wing, Dr. Vegas", "Charmed" and "Smallville".
In 2006 she received an invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. One year early she received the Special Jury Prize at Sundance, the National Society of Film Critics award f
or "Best Supporting Actress", the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female, and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture for her appearance in "Junebug" with the role of Ashley.
She had a romantic relationship with Darren LeGallo, who is an actor too, for more than three years. In 2006 she was nominated at the Oscar Awards. She is very talented and the awards she has won prove that.
