Biography and Career :
Her parents' names are Robert Acker and Sandra Bruyere. When she was a child she started taking ballet lessons, modern dance and jazz dance lessons. While being in high school, the Lake Highlands High School, she had a surgery on one of her knees and her ballet career was over. She began studying acting. She attended the Southern Methodist University.
On April 25, 2003 she married James Carpinello. The couple has two children: a boy, Jackson James Carpinello and a girl, Ava Grace Carpinello. She acted in the play "Therese Raquin" and received a nomination for a Leon Rabin award for "Outstanding Performance by an Actress in A Lead Role
". She was seen in movies like "The Accident", "Groom Lake", "Catch Me If You Can", "The Novice" and "Mr. Dramatic".
Her popularity came after she received and played a role in the television series "Angel". She is a talented actress and critics appreciated her. In the final season of "Alias" she played the role of Kelly Peyton. If she continues this way she will have a great career in the movie industry.
