After she starred in a number of movies, it was obvious that life behind the camera was what Amanda was so passionate about. This is when her new career started to take place.
Today De Cadenet, portraits and fashion photography are being displayed in a wide variety of publications, including her photos that were featured in her vey first gallery show at Staley Wise in New York in 2005 which is the same year she released her acclaimed photography book, Rare Birds. Her book was named one of the 10 best books by American Photos.
Today she lives in between New York and Los Angeles with
her husband, daughter and two baby twins. Amanda still works as a photographer but is also working on her first feature film.
Amanda De Cadenet was born on the 19th of May in 1972. She is a British-born actress and photographer who was born and raised in England.
She was formerly married to John Taylor but they filed a divorce in 1995 and it was finalized in 1997. Amanda is the daughter of the dashing British race car driver, Alain De Cadenet and her mother was called Anna De Cadenet.
She recently married her new boyfriend, Nick Valensi, and she gave birth to their new twins, born, 21st October 2006, each weighing 6 pounds. Amanda already has a daughter named Atlanta Noo De Cadenet Taylor who was born in March 30, 1992.
Currently, De Cadenet is working as a photographer over in America and she released her newest photography book with pictures of all her celebrity friends.
Amanda is an avid photographer who seeks "truth" through her sometimes challenging imagery, with her works including the unsightly scars of beautiful women and a headless nude of friends.
