Alizee (birth name Alizee Jacotey) was born on August 21, 1984 in Ajaccio, Corsica, France. She is a well known French singer.

Biography and Career :

She attended the 'Ecole du Spectacle de Monique Mufraggi'. Mylcne Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat were the ones who discovered her at the show 'Graines de stars' in 2000. That was the year when she released the first album called "Gourmandises". In 2003 and 2004 had another two albums, "Mes Courants electriques" and "Alizee En Concert". All of them had success not only in France, but all over the world.

On November 6, 2003 she married Jeremy Chatelain. The couple has a child, Annie-Lee, who was born on April 29, 2005. After her marriage she took a break but she posted a message on her web-site saying she will come back and is pre paring a new album. Fans all over the world are expecting her and they can't wait to hear her sing again.

Besides singing she likes very much to dance and she knows classical dance, jazz, ballet, tap and flamenco. She is one of the supporters of AC Ajaccio, a football team. She is involved in many charity actions and like helping people around her, she does that whenever she had the opportunity.
