Alison Lohman (full name Alison Marion Lohman) was born on September 18, 1979 in Palm Springs, California, USA. She is an American actress.
Biography and Career :
She began studying acting, ballet and dance and finally the results came. Her parents have always supported their daughter. Her mom has a bakery and her father is an architect. Their names are Gary and Diane. When she was 17 years old she had already appeared in 12 movies. Winning the Desert Theater League's award at the category "Most Outstanding Actress in a Musical" for the title role in "Annie" meant a lot to her. The National Foundation of the Advancement of the Arts also awarded her and she was given the chance to study at Tisch School of the Arts but she refused.
In 1997 she finished high school and moved t
o Los Angeles. She appeared in "7th Heaven", "The Million Dollar Kid", "Planet Patrol", "Safe Harbor" and "White Oleander". The last one was a great success and she entered into the public's attention. She received roles in "Where the Truth Lies", "Matchstick Men", "The Big White" and "Flicka".
Her appearance is of a teenager even if she is not. She is considered to look and act young and she is appreciated by the film critics. With her family support and her fans support she continues doing a great job and offering us great movies.
