Biography and Career :
He had attended the Assuptuion St. Bridget Shool in La Mesa and Helix High School.
After that he went to the University of Utah and majored in economics. In 2002 in two of Utah Utes' games and took only a few snaps. Next year in September she became the starting quarterback and entered top five of all Mountain West Conference QB categories. 2004 might be one of his greatest seasons after helping his team to reach its best rank in 100 years. He was also a Heisman Trophy finalist. In the end of the season he entered the NFL draft.
On April 23, 2005 he became the No. 1 overall pick in the draft after San Francisco selected him. He signed a 57 millio
n dollars contract for six years. His talent was recognized and appreciated. John L. Smith is his uncle and he was a coach for the Michigan State University Spartans' football team.
He is considered a great player and he showed that after breaking some records and helping his team to become one of the best. We hope he will suffer no injuries and can continue the great career he has started. He is just beginning and we are sure he still has many things to show.
