Alex Frost was born in Portland, Oregon, U.S. He is the son of Debbie and Jack. He went to Lincoln High School in Portland and Oregon and Arts & Communication Magnet Academy in Beaverton, Oregon.
He is a very good pianist. He started his acting career in 2003. His debut movie was a main role in Gus Van Sant's Columbine-based film Elephant. This was also awarded the Palme d'Or prize in 2003. Right from 2003 he has acted in movies The Queen of Cactus Cove, The Lost and The Standard.
He has also acted in a Season 3 episode of "NCIS" titled "Ravenous". His movie Drillbit Taylor by Paramount Pictures was released on 21st March 2008. In this movie he plays a rol
