Albert Camus (1913-1960) was a Algerian-born French writer.
Short Biography:
A journalist in France, he was active in the Resistance during World War II.
His novels, which owe much to existentialism, include "L’Etranger" (The Outsider) in 1942, "La Peste" (The Plague) in 1948, and "L'Homme" (Revolt&The Rebel) in 1952.
