Alan Wheatley was born on April 19, 1907 in Tolworth, Surrey and he is a famous radio announcer. He died on August 30, 1991 in Westminster, London when he was 85 years old, suffering from a heart attack. He has also acted in a number of movies as well as TV serials. He worked for BBC English through Radio, in a programme for teaching English. "Thomas Gray's Elegy" and novels of Shakespeare's were his favorites.
