Akosua Busia was born in Ghana. She is the daughter of Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia who served as Prime Minister of the Republic of Ghana (in West Africa) from 1969 to 1972. She did her graduation at Oxford University in Oxforshire, England, UK. She is also a member of the Royal Family of Wenchi.
