Agyness Deyn (born as Laura Hollins) was born on February 16, 1983, in Littleborough, Greater Manchester, England. She has taken lessons in martial arts, music and drama, maths and business.
At the age of 14, she worked in a restaurant in Lancashire. After being spotted by designer Henry Holland, Agyness began modelling for his label, House of Holland. Around two years later, she was crowned as the Face of ’99 by Rossendale Free Press.
She moved to London in search of better modelling gigs. Soon enough, she was signed by a modelling agency, and she came in the limelight when she appeared on the cover of Italy’s Vogue in November 2006. She reappeared on the magazine’s cover in September 2007. In these two photo shoots, Agyness was photographed by Steven Meisel.

f The World’s Next Top Models in May 2007 for Vogue America. In June 2007, Agyness Deyn was seen as the cover model of Vogue in UK. She also graced the cover of Observer Woman, a supplement magazine.
In 2007, Agyness Deyn was involved in a controversy regarding her actual year of birth. That year, British Fashion Awards titled her as the Model of the Year in November 27. A few months later, in 2008, Agyness was selected as the spokesmodel for Reebok.
