Agnes Szavay was born on December 29, 1988 in Kiskunhalas, Hungary. She is one of the youngest tennis players in the women circuit.
Biography and Career :
She is a young tennis player who started her career when she was only six years old and in 2004 became a professional tennis player. Until now (2007), she has won one WTA single title, three ITF single titles, one WTA doubles title and three ITF doubles titles. She is trained in the present by Jozsef Bocskai and her hobbies, except tennis, are listening to music, sports and horse riding. She speaks fluent English. Her parents are Zsolt and Terezia and they also have another daughter, Blanka and one son, Levente. As a junior player she won the single and doubles trophy at Roland Garros in 2005. ntil now was won in July 2007 at the tournament in Palermo on clay, one of her favorite surfaces and her opponent in the final was Martina Muller from Germany.
Vladimira Uhlirova was her partner when they won the doubles tournament in Budapest in April 2007. The three ITF single titles came in 2004 at Ciampino, in 2006 at Houston and in 2007 at Zagreb. At the Australian Open and US Open she hasn't participated yet. In 2007 she managed to qualify at Roland Garros and Wimbledon and reached the second round.
