Aga Muniach was born on 12th August 1969 in Manila, Philippines. He is a Filipino actor and product endorser.
Biography and Career:
Aga Muniach was born and brought up in Manila, Philippines. He comes from family full of actors. His cousin Nino Muhlach was a famous child actor during the 1970's; his aunt Amalia Fuentes was also a famous dramatic actress.
He began his career as a child artist in 1978 in the movie "May Lalaki Sa Ilalim ng Kama". He started becoming famous when he was a teenager for his role is Bagets (1983) and Super-Wan-Tu-Tri (1986). He has also acted with Janice de Belen in a movie. In 1984 he acted in the movie Miguelito Ang Batang Rebelde" in which he acted as a rebellious teenager. For this role he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor from the
FAMAS and Best Actor from the Gawad Urian. In 1987 he won his first Gawad Urian award, as Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Napakasakit, Kuya Eddie.
He has appeared in many Regal movies, either as supporting actor or in the main role as the 1980s transitioned to the 1990s. With younger stars emerging, he took it as a challenge to increase his stock as one of showbiz's top matinee idol. Since he was the top dramatic actors of the 1990s, he won Best Actor awards from the FAMAS for Sinungaling Mong Puso (1992) and the Gawad Urian for Sana Maulit Muli (1996).
Till date he has acted in nearly more than 50 movies, and several television sit-coms such as ABS-CBN's Oki Doki Doc and he also is a commercial endorser for the Jollibee fast food chain.
