Aerosmith Aerosmith, the hard rock band from USA, is sometimes called as "The Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band".

Their style predominantly is blues-based hard rock. They have also come to also include a nature of pop, heavy metal too, and rhythm sometimes and blues also and has given inspiration to many upcoming rock artists. The group came together in the city of Boston, Massachusetts in the year 1970. The lead Guitarist Joe Perry and the lead bassist Tom Hamilton, were together initially in a band named the Jam Band, joined hands with Lead vocalist Steven Tyler, amazing drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano, and Aerosmith was born. In the year 1971, Tabano was joined by Brad Whitford, and they began enjoying a fan base in Boston.

The y joined the Columbia Records in the year 1972 and subsequently came out with a range of platinum selling records, starting with their 1973 epitomising album, followed by the 1974 record Get Your Wings. In the year 1975, the group or band excelled into the main line with the record album Toys in the Attic. Their 1976 Rocks album stayed their position as hard rock superstars. By late 1970s, Aerosmith was among the most famous and renowned hard rock bands globally and had a loyal group of fans, often called as the "Blue Army". However, problems of drug addiction and internal conflict brought issues that caused the departures of Perry and Whitford, in 1979 and 1981 respectively. In came the dudes Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay. The band did not do well between 1980 and 1984, with only one album Rock in a Hard Place.

Aerosmith is the one of the best bands of USA, with sales of more than 150 million records across the globe, with 66.5 million copies in the USA. They also have the world record for most gold and multi-platinum albums by any group from the USA.
