Biography and Career:
Adrian Zmed was born in Chicago, Illinois. He has also appeared in Grease's stage musical thrice: twice as Danny Zuko, he has also appeared in 1982's Grease 2 as "Johnny Nogerelli", the new leader of the "T-Birds". In the novel theater production of Grease, he acted with Jeff Conaway, who played the role of Kenickie in 1978.
He made his television debut in a guest role as "Marty Decker" in 1978 in the TV series "Starsky & Hutch". He also appeared as "Socks Palermo" in the 1979 series Flatbush. In 1980, he appeared on another television series, The Goodtime Girls, playing "Frankie Millardo". He gave another guest appearance in 1982's An Evening at
the Improv.
He continued to appear on television as the host of Dance Fever. He became famous after playing "Officer Romano" in T.J. Hooker, a television series based on the life of a real Los Angeles cop of the same name. He made guest appearances on a number of television shows throughout the 80s and 90s, together with Hotel, Empty Nest, Murder, She Wrote, and Caroline in the City.
He returned to stage work in the 1990s. He stared in the musical Children of Eden at the Paper Mill Playhouse, and starred in three shows in theater: Falsettos, Blood Brothers, and Grease. He appeared as Noah in the musical The Ark, in New York City, and in the 2006 The Craving Heart.
He has also appeared as himself on VH1's I Love the 80s, and Saturday Night Live. He is a graduated with a BFA from the famed Goodman School of Drama.
