Adrian Pintea was born on November 9, 1954, in Bistrita, Romania. He is a famous Romanian actor.

Biography and Career :

In 1979 he graduated the Theatral and Cinematographical Institute "I. L. Caragiale" in Bucharest, Romania. Since he was a student, he got many of his important parts of his career. He starred in plays of Shakespeare, Strindberg or R.Stanca. He is one of the greatest actors the Romanians ever had. His talent was revealed in main parts at the Bulandra Theatre, at the National Theatre in Bucharest and Craiova, the Nottara Theatre. He took part in plays of Cehov, Dostoievski, Eliade, Girandoux, Pirandello, T. Williams, Shepard, Shakespeare and Medoff. His carreer doesn't stop here. He continues playing parts in movies and films directed by Dinu Cocea, Mircea Vero iu, Carlos Aguira, Bernard Tavernier. Adrian Pintea's activity was prolonged also by working at B.B.C.

His filmography began in 1978 until nowadays and made us discover a real talent and one of the greatest Romanian actors. Unfortunately, he died this year (2007) on June, 9th at Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest due to major health problems. The artist left a huge gap in the artistic world
