Adam Weishaupt was born on Tuesday, February 06, 1748 in Ingolstadt and he was a famous activist from Germany of Roman Catholic religion. Weishaupt's father Johann George Weishaupt died when he was five years old and he then came under the tutelage of his godfather Johann Adam Freiherr von Ickstatt who like his father, was a professor of law at the University of Ingolstadt. He became a professor of law in 1772. Weishaupt formed the "Order of Perfectibilists" on May 1, 1776, which was later known as the Illuminati. He died on 18th November 1830 in Gotha, Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
