He was first married to a famous actress, Gloria Rios and as things didn't work out well, they got divorced. Later, in April, 2003, Resortes married again to Josefina Flores Santacruz and has two children with her. He started his acting career at an early age. At 15, he requested a famous director to take his audition at the Mexico City's Hidalgo Theater.
