Abbe Lane was born in Brooklyn, New York in a Jewish family. She began her career as a child actress on radio. Later on she started singing and dancing in theatres. Her songs have a touch of Latin and rumba styles. In 1958 she acted in theatre play "Oh, Captain" with Tony Randall. In the same year she released her album "Be mine tonight" with Tito Puente. Apart from singing in albums she has also appeared in talk shows with Cugat.
Apart from acting in Italian movies she was also seen in the television series "Toast of the Town" during the 1950's. she has also given guest appearances in series like "The Flying Nun", "F Troop", "The Brady Bunch", "
