Aaliyah was married to R Kelly but one thing u need to get straight is she did NOT marry him to get her career going. Her career was already on the take off, she married him because she liked him. But don't disrespect her, because he was 27 yrs old and KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING. He said that she reminded him of his deceased mother. Meaning personality wise. Bad names did come out of the allegations, but people always seem to like to bring it up. I mean it was 15 years ago [1994] and Aaliyah and R Kelly BOTH MOVED ON. I don't understand why most people can't seem to do the same as far as that subject goes. She did exceedingly well in life and people should reflect more on what she ACCOMPLISHED rather than what she was subject to.

Aaliyah Haughton was married too R.Kelly when she was fourteen years old. They try too hid the fact because they didn't want people too call her nasty names. She married him too get her career going. She was having sex at that age.They try too hid that fact too. She wasn't a perfect kid. But she was perfect when it came too her education and family and career. The plane accident was going too happen anyways because they had too much stuff on the small plane. It wasn't because of the polite background. They was told not too put too much on the plane. She was in the hurry too get back too the USA too see her boyfriend. But my heart do go out too the family
