A.I. Bezzerides (full name Albert Isaac Bezzerides) was born on August 9, 1908 in Samsun, Ottoman Empire and he was a famous novelist and screenwriter. He was famous for writing Noir and Action motion pictures.
He started his career with the novel known as "The Long Haul" in 1938, then "There is a Happy Land" in 1942 and "Thieves Market" in 1949. His last writing was for a TV series "The Big Valley" in 1965. He died on January 1, 2007 in Los Angeles.
